STEVE ADORNO

Funk-Rock-Latin-Soul… Steve is a natural born musician.
When he’s working his magic on his first instrument,
the drums, Steve instinctively knows how to lay it in the
pocket. His solid Bronx backbeat has powered several
name acts such as Sara Dash, Linda Hopkins and
Kid Creole and the Coconuts. In 1980, Steve joined
Arista recording artist G.Q., whose three #1 hit singles
include the now classic dance hit “Disco Nights.”
Steve received both gold and platinum albums for his work
with G.Q.

Extensive world touring has brought him to many large
venues such as Soldiers Field in Chicago, Cobo Arena
in Detroit, Giant Stadium in New Jersey, Madison Square
Garden in NYC, and The Winter Splash Music Festival on the
island of Jamaica. During that time he shared the stage with many popular acts including Kool and the Gang, The Isley Brothers, Natalie Cole, and Phyllis Hyman. Steve is also a multi-talented songwriter/producer who possesses an amazing musical insight that constantly inspires other musicians. As a songwriter with an arsenal of songs to his credit, Steve is an endless source of creativity who has written in virtually every genre of music. He scored the music for the popular Nintendo 64 game “Major League Baseball with Ken Griffey Jr.” Steve also recently completed the musical score for the Off-Broadway play “RUS” which opened to rave reviews in NYC.  His instincts, hard work, and constant energy have facilitated many musical projects throughout his career including Devoshun, Steve A’s Blockparty, Street Child, and Lori Rose and the Rocketeers. It was Steve’s intuitive vision that facilitated the recent return of SEGUIDA to the spotlight. Steve is a true champion of New York Latin Rock, and he is the heart of the rebirth of SEGUIDA.
LORI ROSE

Song stylist, writer, and seasoned stage performer, Lori’s sensuous singing style has been a main stay in the New York City night club scene throughout the years. In a manner distinctively her own, Lori proves what a fine artist she is. Her roots, solid in R&B, Rock & Soul, have led her to many different venues during her career. Lori’s versatile credits include several national jingles, a popular Billboard Top Dance Single with “Devoshun” released on SMI Records, and an up-tempo urban dance cut for a compilation album called “Seven Shades” on MCA Records. Some might remember Lori’s musical projects which include Street Child, Visitor, and The It Girls. She was also a featured artist on “Steve A’s Blockparty.” Her live performances include shows at some of the best known NYC club venues such as Town Hall, CBGB’s, Max’s Kansas City, The Limelight, The China Club, and the famous Copacabana. In the early 1990’s Lori took her band “Lori Rose and the Rocketeers” on tour to promote her international single release “Every Beat of My Heart” on MCA Records. Lori was part of The New York Big Apple All-Stars where she used her knack for languages to help recreate American Disco hits for the Latin market such as Queiro Vivir (I Will Survive) and others. Lori sings in Spanish, Italian, French, and has also recorded in Swahili.  Her very distinctive bi-lingual vocals are now an integral part of the new sounds of SEGUIDA.
LOU "Papi" PEREZ

Lou is a multi-talented guitarist/composer who is one of the original founding members of SEGUIDA. From recording sessions to live concerts, Lou’s tasty guitar work adds rhythm & soul to every performance. His first recording sessions at age 15 sparked his musical interests, as he helped to mold the New York Latin Rock sound from its very beginnings.  Two of Lou’s many co-compositions include the highly recognized song “Yo Nunca Te Olvidare Mi Amor,” and “El Fuego Y La Luz” from Seguida’s first & second albums. Lou has experience in many live performance venues such as the famous Fania All Stars Concert at Yankee Stadium. He has warmed up audiences with Sly and the Family Stone, James Taylor, Richie Havens, Crown Height Affair, Larry Harlow, Ray Baretto and Eddie Palmieri. He has recorded and performed with such notable artists as Devoshun on SMI Records, Gichy Dan & Beachwood #9, and Kid Creole and the Coconuts on RCA Records. Louie mixes the tradition of the past with fresh new innovations to help create the new sound of SEGUIDA.
